Which Coat?

Hi! I'm 18 years old and I'm starting to change my wardrobe into something a little smarter; think Joseph Gordon-Levitt in (500) Days of Summer, but occasionally wearing bright colours. Anyway, at the moment I'm looking around for a winter coat. I'm a starving student, so my budget's pretty low, however I understand the need for quality. I've seen two rather different coats I like, both on quite good reductions, and I'm having a hard time deciding between the two of them.

The first one is from All Saints:


And the second one is from Austin Reed:

Much prefer the 1st one - The belt on the 2nd makes it look like a bit like a bath robe imo

The All Saints one will be much more durable and versatile, and is just generally nicer.

The AR one isn't so much of a warm winter coat, I'd go with the All Saints one.

Where have you ordered that coat from, can't find it on Allsaints.

I got it from eBay, someone was selling it new with tags for quite cheap. They've called it a 'Herz Pea Coat' but I just did a quick search on eBay and there doesn't seem to be any others on there.

I have got a very similar one from All Saints and it's lovely - fits well, very warm, good quality, really versatile, so you have chosen well chap

They were selling it for £200 but I got it for £150.
