Glad to see this site is finally getting the recognition it deserves!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's rare to find such a friendly community in such a bitchy area as menswear.
Don't know if anyone else saw this, but I was reading the October issue of L'Optimum Style (a French men's fashion magazine), and on page 212, Men's Fashion Tips and Men's Style Guide : FashionBeans.com is listed as one of their 20 best style blogs! Translated loosely, the caption reads, "One of the rare sites where one finds text and advice. [Ed. note: I'm guessing they are referring to the fact that a lot of fashion blogs are just pictures] Not very [don't have a good translation for this word...aesthetic, maybe?] but educational enough on men's fashion."
Congrats to the editors! I assume this is a good thing.

Wow, thanks for the heads up Matt.
We have been spotted in a few lists like this recently, so hopefully we will only continue to get better and have our work recognised even more throughout the industry. A French magazine though - we must be doing something right!

Our regular readers should check out FitnessBeans.com - our brand new website concentrating on men's health and fitness.
Also, the editor of a new student paper I started writing for recently cited Fashionbeans as an example for what he wanted my men's style column to look like. They were taken aback when I said I was rather familar with the site in question![]()

I've been reading FB for over a year now and have been very pleased with it. It makes me smile when I see that others feel the same way!
I agree about the friendliness of people, too. I think these forums were a great addition to the site last year. The comments that one can leave after (most) articles is nice, but doesn't give the same sense of community, in my opinion.
