Winter Coat

Hi guys,

The cold weather is fast approaching and I don't think I can get away with my unlined jacket for much longer. I've had my eye out for a winter coat for a while but have been pretty uninspired by what I've seen so far. Checked the usual sites, Topman, ASOS, etc but haven't seen anything that looks remotely warm/nice. My budget's probably around £80 (student!) so All Saints, Coggles and Mr Porter are unfortunately no-gos. Anyone got any ideas? Warmth is the main objective, a hood would be nice too. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Topman parka. Little bit more expensive, but I can tell you (after wearing my friends for a while) that it's jolly warm.

Buy a navy peacoat, sod the hood and get a decent umbrella.

@William: Probably should have added that my light jacket is khaki so I'm trying to avoid that colour. But that jacket does look really nice. Thanks for the suggestion though!

@Nath: me and umbrellas have a difficult relationship haha.



What do you guys think of this? River Island, £85... Not the most exciting coat in the world.

TK Maxx is always worth a look, this is probably the best one in your budget (although I know you wanted to avoid Khaki)
