Dangerous in the wet or in frozen conditions on account of their leather soles, but could certainly be worn with socks for winter (when it's dry)

I agree with Pins, that's a bold look. Would look fine with a pair of neutral socks and trousers, though like Will said be careful with the weather.

I'm wearing a pair of penny loafers today. I'm tempted to be a little more adventurous with my socks with these, since the loafers have a simpler style to them. Maybe a bolder color at least.

I'm wearing tan suede loafers with burgundy cable knit socks today. Can't be that bold because I haven't got any comments on them. I am wearing a silk scarf and double-breasted jacket though aha...

They are a very versatile shoe, just buy them.

Spent the money on a Farah Vintage cable knit cardigan instead, will just buy them at the start of next year instead, gives me something to look forward to!
