I'm attending an annual lunch later this month, a very formal event.

I've already purchased my suit: ASOS | ASOS Slim Fit Suit Jacket in Charcoal at ASOS

An will team it with a white shirt and this tie: Selected | Selected Tie at ASOS

What I'm not sure on though is shoes and belt. Do I go under-stated with black shoes and belt and let the tie stand out. Or should I be thinking dark/brown or Oxblood? Or something different entirely?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
