Grey tweed blazer but with minimal lining
White v-neck t-shirt
Skinny indigo jeans
Desert boots in Tan or Stone
Sorted!
Hi guys. Gonna be seen Black Keys this weekend and wanted advice as what to wear for a Black Keys gig? It's gonna be a cold night in December so don't want to be walking around in just t-shirt, but at same time don't wanna be sweating my bag off inside concert.
Any ideas please Black Jeans? denim shirt? Sweater or shirt ? Shoes or high tops?
Look forward to your ideas guys. thanks
Ps this is my first post so be easy![]()

Jeez Nath you and tweedan unlined or half-lined tweed blazer would be scratchy as hell!
But yeah I agree with the thrust of it - jeans and a tee, a light jacket/heavy shirt, and some casual shoes.
You going to be seated or standing? If you're standing I'd go for nothing heavier than a denim shirt over a tee; best to suffer the cold outside to avoid burning up in there. I'd also opt for a pair of trainers you don't mind being trodden on - comfier for standing up on, and easier to pogo in should it come to that
Alternatively the venue might have a cloakroom, which usually costs a pound or two.. but makes life easier. So in that case just bring a coat and drop it off.
If you're in the stands wear whatever you like on your feet, and go for a light jacket - say, a bomber or cotton blazer - on top. Unless, again, there's a cloakroom.
I'm assuming it's an indoors gig with a wardrobe right?
A Black Keys concert ain't gonna be a stand-around concert so for my taste a tweed blazer - or any blazer for that matter - would feel too stiff and movement-constricting for a blues/alt-rock gig.
The rest of what Nath suggests sounds good to me though and then paired with your own suggestion of a denim shirt (maybe swapping the indigo jeans for black skinnies too).
It really does depend on how much jumping and dancing you generally do at concerts though!
Edit: Ok Sam beat me to it and basically said everything I wanted to say haha![]()

I was a bit foward with the tweed, it's just a tweed/wool jackets forms the basis for nearly ALL of my outfits these days.
How about a denim jacket? Paired with black skinny jeans and scuffed black derbies? Plain white tee, a few trashy wristbands and you've got an appropriately indie rock look to play around with.

Cheers for your advice guys. Yeah will be jumping around and am gonna be standing so might leave jacket and go for shirt with t-shirt underneath. Would dark brown shoes/boots go with black jeans?
Black skinnyy jeans, hi-tops, check/denim shirt, low cut/v-neck tee underneath.
