Funnily enough, I recently wrote a blog entry about the last outfit I wore to a Xmas party. (Pictures included)

I had the first of several work Christmas dos last night, and it occured to me that it would be good to have a thread to share what we will all be wearing as we step out this festive season. I know this is similar to the "what are you wearing today" thread, but I thought it was niche enought to warrant its own. I will kick us off. I didn't think to take a pic yesterday, so descriptions will have to do....
Slim-fit grey tweed blazer
Slim white shirt
Slim burgundy chinos
Burgundy and white polka dot pocket square
Black derbies and belt
It seemed to go down well, and I was deemed the dapper gent by several there.

I'm gonna be wearing
Biker Jacket
Terracotta T Shirt
Khaki Chinos
Grey Suede Brogues / Black Boots / Black Loafers (depending on weather)
My work is pretty casual and we will be going raving after - would be weird to wear a blazer or a shirt
@Pins Yeah, obv it depends what you're doing. This was just a midweek meal with a few drinks after, for the benefit of contractors who only live/work in Cardiff during the week. The next two are going to be heavier, so will no doubt leave the Italian silk pocket square at home...
@Nath Lovely little ironic nod to the festive theme with those socks pal!
I iz well ironic ennit.
I'm also a complete christmas nut. I'm usually such a cynical, miserable bastard but come december I go crazy.

This is clearly the only Christmas song it is acceptable to listen to. I hate Christmas. I've got my Xmas party next weekend, I'll post up a picture of my outfit when I put it on.
^ LOL.
For those of you that don't know, I write a couple of fashion columns for local student and nationwide papers. By chance today, one of them published my article on planning an outfit for a Christmas party:

Leather jacket, AllSaints tonic oxblood, black skinny jeans, converse hi-tops.
Extremely casual, we went for a meal and then to a gig at a local bar.
PS I've seen that a few people on here have links to Bristol. I'm going out there this weekend, any good places to drink?
Yeah loads mate. Big Chill is always a good shout for good vibes & music, or try Milk Thistle for lavish cocktails but you will have to go early or book to get a table. There are a few more bars round the Triangle in Clifton if you are up for a more rah studenty thing. Easiest pulling if that's what you are into.
Gloucester Rd / Stoke's Croft also has a lot of good spots nowadays but they can be slightly crusty, white dreads, dog on a string kinda vibes. Drugs often available should you require them.
This is a useful link if you want to go to any club nights / gigs etc Headfirst | What's On Bristol | All Bristol gigs, live music & club listings
Let me know how you get on
I've been up there a few times, we usually end up at the V-Shed near the river and all that complex that seems new. Then we go into those bars round there and end up in Oceania at the end of the night. Just fancied something a bit different.
Cheers fella I'll have a look at that site.
