Altering A Peacoat

Hi,

I've tried on a number of peacoats in different shops recently but the one's that actually fit well in the body are all quite long in the arms. They normally end so a bit of my fingers are showing but I like the arms to be shorter.

So basically, I'd like to know if it is possible to get peacoats altered in arm length?
