Cobblers
Probably a silly question but can a cobbler widen a shoe a nadge around the toe area, even if it requires a new sole?
Bought some lush shoes on flea bay that are only just too tight on my big toe. Either that or it's scalpel time!

You can try stretching it

Will look into this, thanks.
On a related note, the insole on the shoes concerned have stiching around the edge and this also rubs my big toes rotten. Is this a normal way to make shoes? I have both cheaper and more expensive shoes but none have this rather crap feature. It has a leather insole stuck in but it doesn't go the whole way down?
