Good day everyone,

I am finally following 2011's post on getting a trenchcoat. I considered going for something other than Burberry, but I just want one (and I don't want to be unhappy because I didn't buy a Burberry).

Anyway, I was thinking to go for a classic beige, double-breasted Brit one (since those are the only ones that are actually somehow affordable), but I am unsure when it comes to choosing the material. I wanna be able to occasionally wear it in the rain, but is a 100% cotton trenchcoat really keeping the rain out or should I go for a synthetic one?
