    suit mixing

    Hello

    I recently started wearing my suit blazers in a casual way, inspired by some articles here;
    The problem is that it looks big and not fitting with some skinny chinos,
    so I tried to pair these with some other tailored trousers, or trousers from other suits.

    My favorite now, for example, is wearing a medium-dark grey blazer with a darker grey trousers, and so on with navy or black.

    However, I want it to look natural and not look like I picked a wrong pair of trousers...

    Any tips for that?

    Thanks

    I only mix seperates when they differ completely in both colour and texture. For example, a navy suit jacket with a pair of grey wool suit trousers is a classic look. Equally, a grey herringbone suit jacket would look great with navy suit trousers. If you fancied something bolder, a burgundy suit jacket would work with all manner of trouser seperates.

    Keep the colours different, but more importantly keep the materials and textures of each piece different.

    Alternatively, get your arse to the shops and buy some sport jackets! =P

    I think I'm gonna wear a different tone (yet same colour) shirt as well, like done here
