Any tips for outfit?

Hi all,

I am going down to the Antibes area for a few informal business meetings in early May (I know it's a bugger, isn't it? ).

I don't really have much in the way of smart casual summer wear yet, so what would work well do you think? I have a dark blue blazer, which I was thinking of matching with an open shirt (maybe linen), light coloured chinos and blue driving shoes. I think going sockless would be a bit too casual, so what sort of socks would work with that and what other pieces could I buy to mix it up a bit?

The outfit is good apart from the footwear. I love driving shoes but I can't imagine any being worn with socks, especially blue ones. Swap them for a solid pair of penny loafers, you could still go sockless with them in my opinion.
