Help with brands for the basics

    hey all,

I'm almost totally new to the fashion side of menswear, always try to look good but never really gone about putting thought into creating a wardrobe as it were.

I've been reading the fashion basics articles and i'm wondering what suggestions people have for good cost effective brands for the basics such as white/grey/black t-shirts, jeans chino's etc.

The reason I ask is I live in the UAE so I can then do a search to see if those stores are avalaible in this country (for example American Apparel is not)

    Hello,

Zara has some really good basics, great simple palettes which make putting outfits together really easy, and they're not expensive at all. Other go-to brands are H&M and ASOS for solid basics which won't break the bank. All Saints do some amazing fitted shirts, but depending on your budget they can be a bit on the more pricey side for your basic wardrobe. Hope that helps a little!
