Loafers with long trousers
Any tips for this issue?
Most of my tousers are tailored- in a quite short cut (as my tailor says, 'like in Italy'),
However I don't really like how it looks with my new loafers.
It looks great when I sit and the trousers take up, but when I stand the end of each trouser sleeve is getting messy with the front tongue of the shoe.
It seems to me that loafers look good only with trousers ending above the ankle bone. However not all my trousers are suitable for folding, and my legs are slim.
Big no no, or should I just accept it?

as long as there is a bit of ankle showing I don't think it's a problem. We tend to be perfectionists when it comes to our outfits and sometimes we take it too far. You take a big risk having the majority of your trousers taken up even further. Maybe just do it with one or two and live with the rest.

Loafers do prefer ankle, but I agree with Will - as long as there is some skin on show you are all good.
Also, they will naturally move around when you walk, sit etc, so they will look better than when you are standing in front of the mirror.
