I was just wondering if it really matters what colour ones Pea Coat is (Black, Navy, Grey or Camel)?
I have a black one and in one article i read on Fashion Beans, it dubbed black pea coats as "boring". Please explain.
I have a black one and i find it more versatile with my wardrobe, thats all.

It only matters as much as it matters to you.
The true pea coat is always navy - reflecting its nautical heritage. These days a variety of short coats seem to be wrongly labelled 'pea coats' however and some of these might easily be in other colours.

A nice wool peacoat is fashionable enough for fall/winter warm apparel, I'd say. It's good enough quality to last a few years, but you get bored of the look, you can always re-invent it a bit with a new set of buttons!
