on display as in on the hangers in shops? or on the window display?
I'm sure, like me, you've all had the experience where the only one left of that beautiful piece of clothing you want is the one that is on display. The one where people have touched and tried on.
In situations like this, do you still buy it anyways? (of course I'm assuming that this piece of clothing cannot be found online) Do you mind buying a piece of clothing on display?

Schuh seem to love doing this, just whack everything good in the window.
Not going to lie bro, I'm a pretty compulsive, hypochondriac kind of guy. But I've never worried about trying on clothes off the hangers. Maybe I should!???!!! Jokes.
I bet you get weird looks when you tell girl on the till to bring you same item in same size from the backroom instead of just buying it.![]()
You are aware that a lot of on line stores grab your order off a hanger or shelf? Even items in the stock room will have been touched and possibly tried on by staff etc. Just stick what you buy in the washing machine before you wear it.
I would make an exception for shoes, if the size I need is on display and it has been worn by numerous people or looks as though it has I will ask for them to bring out a fresh pair, that is if I wanted to buy them, I'm happy to try them on, but I want to buy a completely new pair. i've noticed some shoes can be a bit too scuffed and worn in when I try them on.
