Tie Bars
Hi there,
Since i'm required to wear a suit 5 days a week i've recently been upgrading my normal suit wear and accessories. I've made a start by matching ties with shirts and cardigans/jumpers, and now i've bought some pocket squares for some added flair. I want to continue this by adding a tie bar to my outfit.
Can you guys recommend any cheap(ish) tie bars that are worth wearing? I am only in sixth form so i'm not looking to break the bank on a designer tie bar when half my students still wear black suits everyday of every week. Is a tie bar even necessary to add to my attire, or can I risk not wearing one when I shed my suit jacket halfway through the day?

eBay... I got a set of silver tie bars for peanuts.
Are they 100% necessary? No
However they are an understated accessory. I love them.
Nice watch, tie bar and pocket square >>> everything else

Tie bars are no collar bars, but they are okay.

eBay is a good shout, or I got a nice one from Debenhams recently for about a tenner.
Collar bars are awesome though. Again, eBay is your best bet.
Oh yeah, don't wear both a tie bar and a collar pin. Less is more!
