WW2 Jacket
Just found this trill wool coat WW2, bit of tailoring it could well be in my possession.

I like it, it's slightly unusual without straying too far from a classic overcoat, can see it working with lots of looks.

my thoughts exactly. Unique as well, would defiantly need tailoring though.

It's a little shapeless, no?
That's the problem with vintage gear: it lacks the fitted cut of modern garments.

It definitely has the heritage and it will be completely unique and with some alterations it could look pretty good to. I would agree with Jay that its a bit shapeless so fairly major changes might have to be made to get it just the way you want it.

I actually like it but I'd feel a bit iffy walking around in WW2 Japanese army gear. As a history student, thats a bit like walking around in German uniform, not strictly wrong but some people might pick up on it.
