I personally like this guys quiff and might try it out.

That'd never withstand the wind and rain! I'll be sticking with my usual mid length with a swoopy fringe, at least it falls back into place (as well as my hair does) after the weather hits it.

Definitely mid length or longer for warmth. Might just grow it out and comb it back, kinda like this.

Rob's your man for this! I'm a fan of both the examples you've posted so far though! I'm currently opting for a mix inbetween, a quiff with a small sweep. I've changed my hair products to Ted Baker's new hair wax also, which I'd highly recommend trying!

It may be better aimed at somebody else this question, but can you get hair product samples like you do with fragrances? Paying £6-10 to find out something's not right is getting pretty expensive!

I'm not sure but I bet you could in places like Selfridges in London or Manchester.

I'm going for a long hair and stubble combo for this winter. can't be doing with too many hair products...
