Everyone else seems to wear really rather considered outfits for just laying about the house, I feel a bit dirty really, for the last 3 weeks I've just been moping around doing uni work and i've just worn hideous old grey joggers, hideous old t shirts and hideous old jumpers.

Haha, don't worry man, I definately do the same from time to time. To be fair, I live in a flat of 10 people and can quite often expect random visitors, so I do try to look reasonably respectable in case I have to pop out or someone comes in.

dont worry, today im lying around in my own filth in a pair of shorts. Its my day off, no-ones coming over. If i need to go out ill put on a singlet. Its 35 degrees and humid - theres no way im busting out the tan brogues :P

I was complimented by a total stranger whilst stood in the queue at the office cafeteria on the quality of my Paul Smith brogues this lunchtime. It's pathetic that this is so far the highlight of my day.

Outfit today for trudging across campus to have needles poked in my arm, not exactly the most colourful but it's a dismal January day after all:

Peacoat - River Island
Jeans - Nudie (Grim Tim)
Boots - Grenson (Fred C)

Also worn but not visible, purple tee and dark grey henley both from Pull & Bear.

I have a similar River Island peacoat (probably a few seasons before that one) in a darker grey. Just my kind of thing with the trim and button styling, and it adds a little extra to a simple style. Shame mine doesn't fit quite as well as yours. Probably should have gone for small back when I bought it, but even then, considering the shape of the medium I might still have needed the pecs of a body-builder to fill it

Yeah, for something bought when I had very little idea about clothes (I'm not sure I'd even discovered Fashionbeans ), it's remarkably well-fitting
