I am contemplating buying a pair - but when I tried them on they are like cardboard (first pair of selvage I've tried on) - how are they softening up?
I want a pair of Nudie Tube Kelly otherwise, but really struggling to find them in the UK.

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, I heartily recomend GAP's 1969 'authentic skinny' range. Don't let the name fool you, it's more of a slim fit I assure you.

I just ordered a pair of the Stamp Cigarette Jeans off AllSaints, anyone know what they're like?

Fit well, fairly skinny, and the 2% elastane makes them really comfortable. I love the cigarette fit. However, they have some subtle stains on them, nearly like small oil stains which put me off. It varies from jean to jean, as in some have more of it than others despite them being the same pair of jeans.

More 'What Are You Wearing Tomorrow' than today but can you guys give me some feedback / tips on the below?

Got some piney coloured trousers (apologies for awful phone camera shot - lighting in the room is dire), and thinking of pairing it with this for work tomorrow.

it's a brown blazer from H&M, gingham shirt from Topman in blue, stripey navy and white tie, silver ASOS tie bar, Tan brogues.

Does it work?
Do I need a belt?
Is the tie working with the shirt?
Are the brogues the right colour?
Does it look shit? Lol.

Any help would be great as not sure if I should wear it when I will almost definitely stand out amongst the black trousers and shirt and tie pack combos from Next... (Not saying there's anything wrong with that though!).

I think it works fine, as long as your place of work is fairly relaxed with regard to the dress code. It's a very preppy look, which means it's inherently more on the casual side of smart/casual.

A few changes I would make:

- a matching tan belt would tie everything together nicer
- a couple of turnups on the trousers just to sharpen up your sillohette
- I like the shirt and tie combination, but it might be a bit busy for a work environment. Maybe consider swapping for a plain blue oxford or the tie for a knitted number in grey, brown or red.

Other than that, everything fits fairly well (half the battle won) and the look as a whole works fine.

I had a red tie on actually but didnt like it - felt like there was way too much going on. I have a grey tie that's in a kind of knitted style so will substitute for that I think. I'll also add a belt to finish if off.

Thanks for the tips! Will take a pic tomorrow and upload! And yeah, work is very casual it's literally just shirt and tie is the necessity so as long as I've got that its cool!
