Today has been a classic look for work day:

Charcoal slim fit two button notched lapel suit (Paul Smith)
White rounded collar long sleeved shirt (Simon Carter)
Grey gingham narrow tie (Lambretta)
White cotton pocket square (no idea where from)
Dark grey wingtip brogues (Hudson)
Stone trench coat (Mishumo)

Oh and because it was raining at times (and a ridiculous luxury, I'll admit):

Back crook handled umbrella (Paul Smith)

And this is pretty much with every outfit I ever wear, smart or casual:

Brown leather satchel (Scaramanga)

I looked dapper if I do say so myself.

I like the sound of this!

More work wear (not to dissimilar from the post above). Today it's a very simple and classic look:

Navy slim fit one button notch lapelled suit (Reiss)
Duck egg blue gingham cut away collared double cuffed shirt (Hawes and Curtis)
Navy silk narrow tie (Hugo Boss)
Solid silver plain bar cufflinks (no idea where from)
Royal blue plaid pocket square (no idea where from)
Brown leather belt (Ted Baker)
Brown wing tip shoes (Hudson)
Brown leather satchel (Scaramanga)

I love wearing this outfit. the one-buttoned suit is the height of European chic and the all bue look is classic, but just modernised from the simple white shirt (which is also very cool) to the blue gingham. The blue pocket square against the blue suit (I always use the square fold as its the simplest and gives a very modern look) is subtle and barely there. I hate big gaudy cuff links so all mine are plain silver. Brown belt and shoes with navy is a must in my opinion.

Like the sound of this a lot too! I have a Ted Baker brown belt that I always wear with my brown brogues or brown derby's, I agree that brown shoes (and therefor belt) goes really well with a navy suit. I dont see that many people doing it either which I like.

I do love a good chambray shirt and that looks great, Pin Money. I bought a very similar looking one from Allsaints recently and am tempted to buy another come pay day. I like the suede brogues too. You also pull off some bold jacket choices! I'm not sure I'd dare buy something that bright, but it does look good (although following the link it looks different to the photo - my browser playing up?).

Pin Money... something about the fit of your jeans and your popped collar makes you look a bit like Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys, but in a good way! Really like it. That jacket pops.

Me, I had a pale yellow shirt, tucked in, sleeves rolled up and top two buttons undone to show off three wooden beaded necklaces (not as garish as it sounds), deep purple skinny chinos (can't describe how nice the colour is - it's rich but subtle), black Oxford canvas/leather shoes and a black belt, and nice red socks. Topped off with a grey tweed jacket but I prefer not to wear it, the shirt, chinos and socks really pop together.
I'm ashamed to admit that literally everything except the socks was from Topman... but that stuff fits me like a glove.

I wasn't 100% sure about this jacket, then I saw it in the Reiss sale in Miami for $30. I'm so glad I got it, it's one of my favourite items.

I know the chinos you mean- they are very nice and really good value for money. I'm probably going to get the same ones eventually.

today.. im plain and simple.. work cry if i wear anything too loud..
so a classic white ben sherman shirt with red tie,
some dark grey trousers (think they from topman...)
black brogues i got about 4 years ago from matalan (still going strong) black belt...
and because i live in the north east and its always cold iv got a dark grey duffle coat and a tweed flat peak hat.. both from river island about 3 years ago
