Shortening A Tweed Blazer
Hi, I purchased a tweed blazer not long ago, it has 3 buttons, however I would like it shortening at the bottom by about an inch or 2 so that the bottom of the sleeves meet the bottom of the jacket. Would this be ok? as i've read that shortening can spoil the balance of a jacket. What are your opinions?

I'm not a fan of having blazers shortened for the reason you describe. If its vented there's more chance of ruining the line of the jacket than if it has no vents.
A great tailor can work miracles though, so if you can find someone who comes highly recommended then take it and have a chat.
