    Yo,

I've just purchased a Vivienne Westwood high collar short in white and was looking to wear it with denim tapered jeans with either a black or brown belt+shoes, would this work?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Need a little bit of outfit advice and cba to create a new thread. I've got an end of term party coming up, dress code is 'shirts and shoes for the boys', but I feel like getting unnecessarily dressed up, and I know I won't be the only one (heard a coursemate mention an ascot the other day...).

Current plan is unstructured blue blazer (this), shoes probably tan Grenson brogues, or maybe brown suede tassel loafers if I go a bit more casual. As for the rest of it, I'm considering red chinos (which I own), probably with a white shirt, no tie, and a pocket square which'll tie the two halves of it together. The alternative is get some beige/stone chinos, and go a bit more interesting on the shirt/pocket square/maybe tie.

    Any thoughts?

I'd wear some really smart beige chinos, the brogues and then go all out on the pocket square and the tie. But then again thats because I've got a bit bored of pairing navy and red personally.

I'd wear a burgundy knitted tie. As for the pocket square, I'm not sure. Plain white and navy are always a winner.

Hmm. I do have a burgundy knit tie, but it's wool and probably a little hot for the season and event. Will probably go tie-less and have an extra-flamboyant pocket square to compensate. Not sure about shirt, what I have is pretty limited and I don't know if a standard smart shirt will work with the casual, rough cotton blazer or if I should wear an oxford.

Strangely enough, I wore the blazer in question today. I paired it with an oxford (light blue), red tie and indigo skinny jeans. Nothing special though.

If you find a great pocket square that looks great with the blazer let me know. I'm in need of some inspiration and I'm heading down to London this weekend so might try and grab something.

    I just bought these: http://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk/con...7_Denim_l1.jpg

In terms of footwear, I was wondering, what would go with them? Would either of these look good? Any suggestions?

I think the latter look a lot better.

But really I think it's hard to beat a tan-leather pair of oxfords.

Tan desert boots if you don't want to opt for brogues/oxfords?
