Off-white chinos and brown brogues or loafers. Light blue oxford shirt and burgundy knitted tie. Burgundy polka dot pocket square.
Right then chaps,
Just bought a three button blue tweed heringbone blazer But a stumped on how best to wear. I always get a bit confused with blue jackets (lame I know).
I'm guessing black jeans are a safe bet, but any tips on tops or shoes would be ace.

Scrap the tie, and Nathan's outfit is a good one in a casual situation. It may be easy to get into a habit of wearing ties casually, but personally I think they're a cumbersome, unnescessary accessory. In a smarter situation they're fine, but on the streets I do think they look quite tried-hard. I wore one into Spoons, and got the dirtiest looks I've got in my life. Obviously it's a dirty place in itself, but I realised when I got home that sometimes there is a time and a place for everything. Casually, it's good to let the shirt speak for itself when out and about. Just my 2p though. I do like ties, but I prefer to save them for smarter occasions.
This particular blazer goes with a lot. It's easy to wear with most colours of jeans. You could also consider a burgundy pair, or even a grey/black/burgundy pair of cords.
Thanks guys.

Ben's probably right. Personally, I probably get a self-indulgent, vain kick out of the odd dirty look. =P
I find that you can tone a tie down with a casual bit of knitwear. I was wearing a grey knitted tie to a restaurant the other day and an Allsaints cardigan over the top seemed to make the whole thing look a bit more toned down.
I guess it's all down to habit. I feel quite plain without anything around my neck in the evening.

I know what you mean. I love wearing them, but I've realised that when family sees me wear them, it takes the formality out of the outfit if they see me wear it a lot.
By all means wear it! I personally wish everyone would throw their cuffed chinos away and adopt a smarter aesthetic. But where I live, I can't see this happening any time soon...
In need of help, what can I wear on my bottom half that goes with these![]()
Good boy! aha It works
I thought you already bought one recently though?! they're damn useful to have!
