I believe my girlfriend has got me brogues for christmas so i will soon be able to do a reasonable comparison! I have never found a problem with that actually,if anything i think it makes them more comfortable. On a seperate note it turns out i own the ones you have just brought, make sure not to get them wet, i put copius amounts of protector on them and they still have marks on them and they were only worn once in light rain.

Thanks mate, you're probably right. I have no intention of ever wearing them unless its clear. The weather forecast will be checked reguarly!

This is beautiful scarf that I also have my eye on.

Was in Reiss yesterday looking at it. Going to hold out until after Christmas to see if it is reduced further but will probably end up getting it anyway.

Reiss scarfs are really well constructed. I have a cashmere and lambswool scarf from about 12 years ago and it is still immaculate.

I actually really like that blazer. I'd never wear it, or any camo (minus maybe an umbrella or pocket square), but it's a really nice piece if you nail the rest of the outfit.
