Just got these,Urban Outfitters - Shore Leave Beige Work Brogues cant go wrong at £20 pretty comfy, not expecting a huge deal of longevity but defo a bargain.

I'm not going to bother finding photos, but at the Paul Smith warehouse sale this morning I bought approximately (I haven't even counted):

15 or so shirts (some for work, some for out and about)
2 pairs of really nice tweed/wool trousers (in differing shades of tweedy browns)
1 navy fine knit cardigan
1 black ribbed cardigan

And probably some other stuff I've forgotten already. I reckon that little lot would cost me about £2.5K at standard prices, but all for a measly £500.

Bargain.

Well congratulations for resisting the allure of electric blue suede shoes, which I understand you've had trouble with before!

Trust me, I bought plenty I shall hardly ever wear, I'm sure, but I think there's enough there to make it a good set of purchases. The black ribbed merino wool cardigan alone is an absolute winner and the tweed trousers are amazing (but need tailoring as they come unfinished).

I think I'll give it a miss next time though. Queueing at 4am for what is a glorified jumble sale is not the way to spend a weekend and I'm buying a lot of work shirts I don't need (I think I have about 100 Paul Smith work shirts from these sales over the years!).

Next month it will be one purchase only! (a lovely pair of brogues I have my eye on - and not blue suede ones, although I will wear those when it warms up as they are too summery and delicate for winter)

I got some Navy Blue tassel loafers by Walsh at the weekend. Found in TK Maxx for £25 diwn from £100. Can't find pics online, might have been a sample; I didn't know Walsh made shoes like that. They are amazing quality and style, and match my Navy suit perfectly!
