What To Wear With Loafers

Hi all

This is my first ever post :-)

I would like to buy a pair of loafers, probably brown but don't know what to wear with this?

I have the classic blue chinos, mustard chinos and recently bought dark blue stretch skinny jeans. Would loafers go with any of these?

I"m more confused on what to wear on top - fitted shirt, polo, t-shirt?

I would like advice on casual and formal ( i'm a full time dad so don't get out v often, so when I say formal I mean a night out with mates to the pub and club)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think they go with practically anything, but look best with some nicely fitted trousers/chinos. Really these can be dressed up or down: wear a shirt and blazer for a more formal look, or a printed shirt or polo for something slightly more casual.

They look great with all the items you mentioned. A striped tee-shirt (preferably crew neck) would also look great for a casual look. Perhaps wear a printed shirt with your blue chinos, roll the hems, and go sockless for a laid back Italian Riviera look.

Short pants are really in this season. Try wearing something in a nude or camel color with loafers. You can also add a gold shirt to get a look perfect for the spring!
