Good Cheap Sunglasses
Looking to get a pair of cheap Ray Ban wayfarers or imitations. Does anyone know a good source or a good brand of copies?

Try Tk Maxx, the one nearest me has loads of wayfarer style sunglasses! No Ray Bans though, but plenty of decent brands that are worth a look!

Yup, seconded for TK. Don't get Ray Bans anyway, everyone has them and there are sooo many fakes
I've got loads of cool sunnies from TK. Brands like D&G, Moschino, Richmond, Proenza Schouler, Loewe, Ted Baker etc etc

Something irks me about "designer" sunglasses. Moschino, D&G etc aren't specialists in sunglasses. You say don't get Raybans, but at least they are a proper sunglasses make. Unless they're fakes of course!!

Most of those designers also make prescription frames too though. Does that make a difference?
Just because they don't only make sunglasses, doesn't mean their sunglasses aren't good. If you look at the packaging on these things, they're all made in the same factories anyway. The labels license the designs and the right to use the name. It's not like Dolce says to Gabbana "I'm bored of making these clothes, let's make some sunglasses instead," puts down the sewing machine and picks up some bits of plastic and a few glass bottle-bottoms and starts pretending he can make sunglasses whilst laughing at how they've fleeced the consumer into thinking their sunglasses are something they're not.
The only possible difference you could state is that Oakley & Ray-Ban offer polarised lenses whereas some manufacturers don't. But the polarised versions of these glasses will set you back the lion's share of £200 anyway. And you definitely won't find them for £29.99 in TK Maxx!
I found some Tom Ford sunnies in TK the other day. They didn't really suit my face but still, Tom fucking Ford.
