Should Men Wear Bright Pink?

Please be gentle, I have only just joined this forum.

Should men wear bright pink or is it a fashion faux-pas? I have a bright pink shirt that I love to wear and am also thinking of investing in some pink chinos. It is confusing because some experts say men should experiment with colour whilst others say they look tacky. I always wear just one bright item and tone down the rest of the outfit such as a pink shirt with black/grey tie and black/grey suit. Similarly I would match pink trousers with a neutral top. Any comments would be appreciated.

Agree with Pins. I wouldn't advocate a full pink three piece suit or anything! But yeah you can rock something pink, if you do it with confidence. I've got a pink shirt on today! Women quite often compliment me when I wear pink, because not many men do it.

Pink is fine, it actually works very well, just use it as a statement item, not as a main colour. I would probably avoid any bright pink Deep V neck tees though. That really isn't a very good look.

A more tonally acceptable pink works well though.

Bright pink is a lovely summery colour (if we ever get a summer.) I agree with the earlier comment of not going pink all over. Don't put your bright pink shirt on with your bright pink trousers - one at a time please!

i don't actually have anything that is BRIGHT pink, but don't see any problem in wearing it. I really like pastel pink though

I thought the pink shirt was a pretty standard piece these days. Pink trousers though? I wouldn't personally wear them, but then I'm a pretty effeminate looking guy. If you look quite masculine, I think you can pull off pink alot better.

So it depends on the person, don't forget that.

I don't understand what the problem with pink is. I have two pink shirts and I love to wear pink. Seriously if you like pink you should wear pink.

It is ok, nothing wrong about that, as long as your moves is really a real man, nothing wrong, no one can say that you are gay or something.
