Shorts Styling This Summer

Was just wondering what shorts everyone are looking to this year?!

I spent quite a bit last year - bought two pairs of All Saints Chino Shorts (Dark Navy and Sand) and a pair of AS Light Denim Shorts all at full price - all of which are relevant and will work this year alongside the couple of pairs of standard Topman shorts i have.

Will need to invest in a couple of pairs though and wanted something a little different and wondered what other people are looking at for the summer?.

At the moment im thinking a burgundy chino number, and possibly a tailored short?

Patterned ones are bound to be popular, and as it sounds like you've got the regular choices all sorted, they could be a worthwhile addition

I will be styling shorts by keeping them in the draw and wearing chinos. I don't do shorts. Not that its any help.

Try a subtle pin stripe? seersucker or something similar?

Im definetley going for the chino style, i love the light blue version ive seen in alot of shops although my fav and must have for this summer are these tribal style patterned denim type from river island!

I don't see whats wrong with Topman's regular chino shorts. I have some in Burgundy and they're great. I'd personally avoid patterns, they look cool now but you'll think you looked like an idiot in a couple of months. Just buy chino shorts in a selection of cool block colours. Fits the most important thing!

I agree with Nath, stick with plain chino shorts or maybe some denim ones.
