Any Reviews On This ASOS Navy Blazer?

ASOS | ASOS Slim Fit Cotton Blazer at ASOS

    http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Slim-F...=3&clr=Indigo#

I saw these blazers today and was sure that one of you guys on here had one of them. Any good? My main worries are that colour might be a bit vivid, and of course sizing, though I can always get in tailored.

    Cheers!

I looked at this and the darker one and my only concern was that they looked slightly too short in length making the proportion a bit skew. I like slim tailored things but this for me appeared slightly too short. Might be perfect for you though.

I'm looking for a navy blazer and have seen one on the Jack Wills site (as explained in my other thread) but wondered what their quality is like and I assume their fit is fairly slim fitting...only reason I preferred it was because it looked just slightly longer in overall length but still slim etc.

Yes I was slightly put off by the length, as I already have a double-breasted navy one from H and M which is very waist length (although I know DB are meant to be a bit shorter).

However, I would like to style it with shorts this summer so maybe short is preferable. It's a respectable price but I'm not sure...

I've got one, the colour isn't too vivid at all, still fairly neutral. It's short but not ridiculously so in my opinion, I like the length for a casual blazer, although obviously it's a bit height-dependent.
What size are you? Can take measurements of my 38 if you wanted to know about fit.

Hey Blacksheep do you reckon you could take the measurements on the blazer? I've ordered both a 38 and a 40. My actual chest size is somewhere between 35 and 36 (just measured now), but 38 usually fits me nicely.

Or seem as you've got the 38, what's your height and measurements?

    Cheers man!

    21" pit-pit
    18" shoulder-shoulder
Think the sleeve was 26" from shoulder to cuff before I got them taken up
26" from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket

    I'm 5'11" with a 37" chest and 30" waist

Thanks, the shoulders, length and sleeve sounds pretty perfect.

I a slightly confused about the pit-to-pit though. How did you measure it? By how I do that measurement, that would be wide for even the most broad-chested guy aha

I usually measure pit to put lying the item down, and measuring from from arm pit to the other.

Haha, thought something was up. Yeah 19 sounds a bit more on the mark, maybe an inch or so a bit much, but hey, what's a tailor for!
