Slim-Skinny Chinos
Every time I buy 'slim' chinos they are never slim enough - it seems the term 'slim' is now very often just a modern disguise for straight fit for slim people. Whereas I want a slim fit which is also narrow, but not ridiculously skinny. If I buy skinny fit, it often seems too ridiculously tight. There is often no happy medium so I end up buying the slim fit and either making do or getting altered.
Can anyone recommend any brands for the slim-skinny look of chino/trousers? In terms of high street, I haven't tried Topman or Zara's chinos etc. for quite a while - are either of those any good?
I know italian brands/style is generally the type of style i'm after, cut slim to the body, but not skin tight. Any italian/italian style brands worth looking at?

I buy Topman's skinny fit and they are a wonderful slim fit on me. I'm also a skinny bugger and find that "slim" fit is actually more of a straight fit on me.
Bear in mind, Topman's are known for fading in the wash a bit but can't complain given the fit and the price.

Allsaints Cannon chino is my trouser of choice, they fit me great and have a bit of stretch in the fabric! So comfy! Mens Trousers | Sweatpants, Tailored Trousers | AllSaints I would stay well clear of Topman's if I were you, the fit is nice but the quality is pretty shocking!

Zara will probably have some chinos in the kind of fit you're looking for, I've got several pairs from there which are slim without being too skin-tight.

All saints skinny is pretty skinny, just bought some in the sale which is what i was after. Cannon are also pretty decent i think, but the colour choice was limited.
