Borg Collar Jacket - Opinions?

I've found an Asos own brand jacket that i've took a strange liking to, but i feel it'll be another purchase that i make on impulse an regret (with these types, i will like it for a week then completely regret it as it'll be a bit too niche)

My worries are that the jackets collar will make me find it hard to wear with my other pieces of clothing, and i'm not sure that the jackets themselves look nice. I'm really just asking for some opinions, and which one looks best/is most versatile if you do like one. Thanks.

I don't see them as being niche

Prefer the navy one definitely
