Popping Blazer Collars
Here's one to stoke the fires of debate between the 'style' and 'fashion' factions: is it ever acceptable to pop ones blazer collar?
I've seen it done in a lot of lookbooks lately. I think the kind of blazer is important myself: it works well with an unstructured piece, or when a blazer is being used as a piece of outerwear as part of a layered look.
I'm doing it today on the way to the doctors with my Allsaints 'plight blazer'. What are your guys thoughts on this trend?

I've always got my collar up for my Allsaints blazer. Probably wouldn't do so if it was more of a 'formal' blazer to be honest though.

It's definitely down to a) the style of the blazer, and b) how you're wearing it. Definitely a goer in a more casual outfit, especially if the under-collar felt is in a contrast colour. Though it somehow feels more natural outside, rather than inside.

I do this with preppy stuff - navy blazers, stripy shirt, loafers, rolled up sleeves and all the Gant lookbook stuff.
Don't like it when I'm going for more of an indie, Allsaints vibe though - edges it towards boyband territory for me.
And never with a suit and tie, although that much should be patently obvious!

Must be when wearing a casual outfit, would look a bit silly otherwise.

Agreed with everyone so far
I have a tweed blazer where I pop the collar with a t-shirt / coloured chino combo (ie, dressed down)
