Has anyone come across any Double Monk Straps (brown) for less than £100. ASOS do some, which I bought but the toe's rather clunky and the quality is questionable.

These are the only ones I can find as I'm after a pair myself to be honest.
The second pair are probably a bit better than the first (IMO).
Aldo used to do a really really nice pair that went down in the sale months ago to a stupidly low price - but I had no money at the time and when I did they were gone. Kicked myself ever since.
Shame they're black, otherwise I'd happily dish out £50 for them.
Kind of wish I'd bought those Tan ones those few months back!
Any other takers?
Have you tried Jones?
I saw a decent looking pair of tan double monks in the sale when I went in to my local one yesterday. They have a pair on t'internet for just under £100 (Jones Bootmaker shoe store: Designer inspired footwear. Ladies & Men's shoes, courts, pumps, sandals, boots. Timberland, Rockport, Merrell, Gabor. Stylish leather handbags, purses & wallets.) but they don't look quite as nice.
New in on Zara:

Likin these myself!
Good shout, although I just spent all my money on a Reiss blazer today. Damn. They're rather lovely though.
The Zara ones look nice, but I bet they don't look or feel as good close up. For another £50 you could get some Meermin monkstraps. I absolutely love mine!
I preferred the older Zara ones. Those are screaming for a toe-cap.
I must admit, I don't like the shape of these as much as the old ones. Maybe I'll just starve myself for a month and get the meermins.
To pose another question on this subject: are double monk straps going to last or are they a short term fad and no one will be wearing them in 12 months?
Surely, they can only be deemed an investment piece if they are something that can be considered a staple item and worn over the years?
The reason I ask is that I'm also considering purchasing some but can't quite decide whether to purchase some cheaper ones on the basis that they may be wearable for a year or so or invest in a good pair on the basis that they wont date?
