The 'Does it Fit?' Thread

Thought we should start a thread for those who need some of their doubts clarifying regarding fit.

I'll kick off with this blazer/jersey from Reiss? Thoughts? There is sometimes some minor creasing but I'm starting to think this is more down to its unstructured nature as it isn't pulling at the buttons

Ah, the park blazer. The creasing is because of the construction, it does exactly the same thing with my Al blazer, there's a big crease from the armpit down to the button?. It's quite a boxy cut or at least thats what I've found.


I'm like the Reiss oracle.

Actually this is the 'moon' blazer, although it's very similar.

I just took it to Reiss and the woman there said exactly the same thing. She said it fits fine but the creasing is due to the relaxed construction. I do like it though. Do you think it works Will?

So it is! I'm a pretty shit oracle. It works for sure (one of my colleagues absolutely loves it) but I think it's the kind of thing that is better left undone, don't treat it like a blazer as such but more like an oversized cardigan, then the creasing won't matter and it will hang in a more relaxed way, you can see how the shoulders roll a lot further down the sleeves than they would in a normal blazer. Wear all the same things with it, shirts, tees etc just don't do it up.

Thanks, out of interest Will, what size do you take at Reiss? And what is your actual chest size?

I'm a small, I've got a 37 inch chest and I take a 30 trousers although I've got a 28/9 inch waist.

Paha thanks man, I probably won't sell this one as I'm gradually upgrading all my existing Topman and ASOS blazers to better brands. Plenty of the former being eBayed soon though!

How does this Cordy Diesel jean look? Fit wise.
Im usually a size short in leg length (28) but Diesel dont do short only regular so wondering if its too big for me.

Take them to a tailors should you have one local to you and get them taken up to the length you need, shouldn't be more than £10
