I've been hearing plenty of advocating that blazers looks best when its slim fit.
I do agree that slim fit usually look the best, but is it always the case?
If so, should all regular and loose-fitting blazers be forbidden?

A blazer should nearly always hug your frame.
Exceptions (in my humble view):
- Double-breasted can be worn a bit less slim, but they should still frame the contours of your body
- very unstructured casual blazers should be slim but you can ignore some of the traditional rules of tailoring a bit more with regard to length and such
They should always fit your body nicely, the current trend is for slim / skinny and I don't see that changing for a while
The 90's oversized thing is coming back a bit but I just don't think it looks good

Yes. Blazers do look best slim. However, It is a matter of your personal preference.
Once again I have to agree with Pin Money on this one i dont see the slim fit look going away anytime soon especially with the celebrity world endorsing it so heavily, but thats not to say its for everyone it all depends on what your going to feel comfortable in. Personally i love the slim fit blazer look with the slim fit trousers and a skinny tie i think it gives off a sophisticated image.
