I realised lately that an area I have neglected is my collection of jackets and coats. I threw out some poor fashion choices and left myself with the two basics I use the most, a navy parka by Abercrombie and a Pea coat by Allsaints. My question is, if you had 5 basic choices for coats/jackets what would they be?
At moment I'm thinking
Parka -functional and fashionable
Please feel free to add more than 5 if you feel needs be. I'm in the process of streamlining my wardrobe and want to get rid of the clutter and cut to the basics that work
I have a nazy blazer, and a tweed blazer I should have specified, but what I was meant was primarily concerned with outerwear
I would say a good overcoat should take precedence over the peacoat. It's much more versatile: the perfect overcoat works just as well with jeans as with a suit.
I would personally emphasise the importance of a denim jacket, although that's because my personal style has indie leanings.
My current outerwear choices are:
Navy Peacoat (Winter coat)
Orange Lightweight Parka
Navy/black & Black/White Bomber jacket
Green Field(esque) Jacket
A denim jacket is a good addition to.
