Does anyone else have a style idol where they constantly check up on what they're wearing and look to buy that exact outfit?
I do this with Ryan Gosling, I buy outfits he wears quite often. I just wanted to say this out loud and anonymously here so I don't get weird looks from my friends!
A strange one, but for me it's all about Jeff Brazier. He puts outfits together so well and I think he layers his clothes brilliantly. If I'm ever off work I love it when he's in the hub on this morning so I can perv on his clothes haha. I also stalk him on Instagram and twitter etc so I can get some outfit inspiration.
Well he inspired me to adopt stubble (I hate the clean shaven look because I look like a 12 year old), and sometimes I like to take inspiration from his outfits.
I don't particularly follow them outfit for outfit but occasionally take inspiration from Theo Hutchcraft from the band Hurts and Korean musician G-Dragon (mainly for streetwear pieces)
I have a few different "idols" who cover a mixture of different styles.
For example, when it comes to smart business wear, David Gandy is hard to beat.
I don't follow him, but I quite like the style of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. In particular his style in Inception.
Johnny Marr when he was in the Smiths. And James Dean obviously.
Mine are David Beckham and Eddie Redmayne for casual, stylish looks. Nick Wooster for some fashion-forward fun. I like Ryan Gosling's style too, but sometimes he looks pretty messy (haha, don't hate me) but on red-carpets, he is gold. I even decoded their dressing formulas a while ago (Style Inspiration | The Confused Dasher), which was fun to do. Generally speaking, I think the Italians do it best. They always dress with confidence and flair.
Shaka Maidoh's 'style' is insane.
SHAKA MAIDOH | I'M KOO
Notable mentions; Jimmy Q, Umit Benan and Josh Pes.
my top 3 are
Mariano Di Vaio,
All have their unique style which i copy and take parts from each to have my own style (so i think) lol.
Have to agree with comments about italians they simply dress the best flair without trying to hard
