Denim: Recommend Some Dark Blue Skinny Jeans

I'm 20 years of age, and for the last 3 or so years that i've had a strong interest in clothing and fashion, I've been wearing grey and black and berry coloured skinny jeans. Now I love these colours and they go with everything in my current wardrobe, but after working a lot of overtime over Christmas and having some extra money to dish out I've been looking to expand on my wardrobe.

One thing that I definitely need to obtain would be some classic dark skinny denim. The only question is where to buy? I wouldn't particularly want to pay more than £100-£150.

For that price I would recommend a specialist brand such as Nudie Jeans or Edwin, both do skinny fits although I have never personally tried either in that style. I do have 3 pairs of Nudie's however that I love and have lasted me a long time (2+ years so far with good wear).

Cheap Monday are another one who specialise in the skinny fit, and I have heard nothing but good things about the brand from guys who wear them - they are also well below the £100 mark, which may mean you could have 2 pairs for that hard earned cash:

I am sure the guys will be able to help you out however, as we have some real denim connoisseurs on here!

Nudie Thin Finn or Tight Long John. Even the hai Kai works on guys if you want a bit of a higher rise.

Edwin are a more of a relaxed fit - even in the skinny cuts. Nudie have tighter cuts. The thin finn is a slightly relaxed skinny, not much stretch (normal denim). The tight long john is strechy and can be undersized by up to 4 inches to get a tighter fit. The elastic in them stops them stretching permanantly though. At least in my experience.

Where do you recommend going for Nudie jeans? I fancy a pair but with denims, I don't like buying them online, I like to get in them and see how they feel to get the fit right. Are there any high street stockists?

The colour and wash are perfect, the denim is really soft and nice, the bit of stretch makes them really comfy and the cut is perfect.

Only £65 too, they have the same look & feel as much more expensive jeans

Im in Australia and there's a few places selling them now, but on my last visit to London I think they were in selfriges and urban outfitters. Go online and see if there's other retailers.

Nudie Jeans for all stockists.

All I ever wear now is Nudie Jeans because they are the perfect fit. If you like your jeans proper skinny I would go for 'Tight Long John' but if you like them with a little room then go for 'Thin Finn' which are my personal favourite or if you fancy a slim straight leg then 'Grim Tim' is perfect, my other favourite.

They fit really nicely. I am usually a 33 waist. I have the Black ones in 32" which makes them pretty much skintight, and the blue ones in 34" which are more of a slim/skinny fit. As they are stretchy, it's possible to go a size down.

They are the best jeans I've ever had, and I've had loads of Diesels, Nudies, G-Stars etc etc

I also have them in light grey & chalk! They are the best cut. I think the grey ones are on sale on All Saints now
