Cheers, Sam! I think drop crotch chinos can be a good thing when done right, however they have become more and more extreme and turned into a charicature of themselves. Subtle ones are still cool imo.
@ OP, have you considered a cardigan as an alternative to a light jacket? A decent chunky cardi will keep you toasty on a spring/summer evening, and as the winter collections are now fading away, there are some wicked bargains floating around.

I'm not a fan of that bright blue but If you think you'll get plenty of wear out of it then go for it. I don't own one but I do have a soft spot for Baracuta Harrington in navy blue.
