Exactly. You can find some gems if you look, as Sam said, I got a leather biker jacket for £10!

Until recently I used to have strong preconceptions about thrift stores, but I love them now. Yes it`s frustrating to dig through all the crap, but eventually there are real gems to be found with ridiculous prices. Last week I bought a well-fitting wool blazer for exactly 1€!
Basically, all you need is patience.

So true. Last time I was thrift shopping, my gf got bored and whiny. It used to be the other way around. :p
