Haha same...can't remember the last time I wore a pair of AF1's visible from space...and yet there they sit >_<. Of the most prominent brands FBeans features I wish the most that All Saints would come to SA.

I have an All Saints just down the road... It's a double edged sword tbh. Too much money has gone in that place.
Wow, that's what I call a cable knit! Like it.
I'd pair it with jeans/heavy chinos and boots (pretty much any kind) personally, and top it off with a knitted scarf. If you're a fan of the gilet, which many certainly aren't, that would be the thing to wear over it. I'd avoid jackets because it looks like such a heavy knit though.
£70 for a scarf!
That said, I've considered parting with £80 odd for a lightweight scarf all because it had those Paul Smith stripes on it. I didn't though. I would have if I'd dug up the £80, which scares me :p
Yeah, I don't really get how they can be charging £125 for a jumper, and then £70 for a scarf made from identical material. They have so many of the scarves in store though that I'm sure I'll be able to pick up a sale one.
Is a matching scarf and jumper a bit much though? Personally I think it might be pretty good...

I'd go for it, definitely - it would ride on how you tied the scarf, I guess. I wouldn't do a plain old Parisian knot - I'd probably either just swing it round the neck once or tie it like an ascot, you know, that once-over thing. Surrounding pieces, too - leather gloves would work well, I think. And the gilet again, if that's your thing. Treat the jumper/scarf combo like a single piece.
Yeah I fuxx with gilets still. My double tartan debacle revolves around one, memba?
Oh, of course that was you - I forgot, silly me :p
I was just being careful because I remembered the things being mentioned in the "things you'd never wear" thread. That one's become one of the longest threads on the forum, how cheery!
Your gilet's that tartan Allsaints one right? That'd probably work pretty well, although it'd be a bit of a busy top half so I'd go either-or with the scarf and gilet rather than both at once.
Yeah, true. I have a Navy Hilfiger down filled one too, but I doubt I'd ever wear those together because it would be hotter than the friggin sun with that lot on!
