All about waffle knit at the moment.
Also nabbed these from Ben Sherman for £37 down from £75. They'll be my go-to shoe this summer, paired (obviously) with white trousers and a navy blazer.

The loafers are nice. I am starting to look seriously at a good pair of investment loafers for the summer - probably brown and maybe suede.
Really not sure what kind though - penny, tassled, mocasin etc. ... and also which brands to look at.

Yes, buying loafers can be a minefield. I just saw those and thought, sod it, they're classic, timeless and quite easy on the eye as well.
As far as your purchase, I have a tan pair of suede pennies from Topman of all places which I quite like. Tassles are a nice feature, especially on some of the hudson and zara models this season, but I'm not sure how long the look will be around for.
Pennies are a pretty safe bet in my opinion.

G.H.Bass do nice loafers. I've got some burgundy tassled loafers from Bass called the Larkin, they're really nice. Also, Hudson do a nice suede pair called the Tyska.Quote:
