Right I have tried pretty much all waxes/clays out there.

Nothing in boots has impressed me.

For a matte finish with very good hold I suggest any of the following:

    Redken Rough clay 20
    Hanz de Fuko Quiksand
    Matrix beach clay
    Muk, Hard Muk clay
Tigi for Men, matte separation wax

muk Hard muk is best hair stuff I have used for short hair
fish stone clay or ted baker cream wax for longer hair

I try to avoid hair product that has Paraben in it as it done something to hormone.

Hmmm. Ok I'll check the shampoo thing out. In the meantime 1. If anyone can suggest a shampoo, thank you. 2. I'm thinking of buying keune, as they're not expensive.... But which one?

I've been thinking about this: Keune Haircosmetics: The Art Of HairDesign > Product overview > ProductLineDetail > CLAY it's €8.22 here.... what do you think?

I would prefer some of the others I recommended above but this is a decent product too, my hairdresser uses this and swears by it. Strong matte hold but can feel a little greasy in my experience.

I find 'American Crew - Fibre' to be pretty good.

May be a bit late but I use Kevin Murphy products- in particular the Night Rider texture paste, combined with a bit of hold spray and you can't beat it.

Have a look at some of his stuff- has a lot of great ingredients in them also so your hair smells amazing too. Nice natural, non-greasy look.
