    Need help with my quiff/pompadour!

I have the right cut for a quiff, yet I always have trouble styling it. I usually try using Murray's pomade for a James Dean, look not super shiny like most pompadours. Some days it looks really great but others it looks awful. I've tried using other products such as clay and fiber yet they always look so messy on me. I also sometimes use mousse and it looks good but lately it has looked really bad no matter what I do. If anyone can give me tips on styling something like this, any help is appreciated! The image is big so try the link

    Are you using a hairdryer?

If not, that will make so much difference.

Yes I do, I dont have the nozzle to direct the flow that people always recommend you to use.

Blow dry with a round brush and style with Hanz de Fuko Modify Pomade.
Hanz de Fuko is my favorite brand of hair products.
