    Packing on some Muscle

    I'm 16 years old, 5'8" and I'm ridiculously skinny. My waist size is just about a 26" and I have a very small frame; being short just exaggerates this too. I find it difficult to put on weight or muscle and seeing as this is my last year before extended summer (yaay) I was hoping to try and put on some muscle in the holidays; when I have more time to dedicate myself to it. I have the makings of fairly toned abs but my arms are hopelessly skinny :') I only really run for exercise. Can anyone recommend some exercises to help me put on a bit of muscle? I want to avoid the gym if at all possible, especially being strapped for cash. Thanks
