New Haircut - Gimme a Hand Guys?

I'm trying to come up with a new haircut. It's pretty plan. Not very long, good length fringe, and yes, ignore how stupid I look in this picture, it was taken a rather while ago... but just an idea for face shape, and yes, I know I'm wearing a hat;

I am more than tempted to get a Mateus Verdelho style cut - such as in these pictures;

I wouldn't keep my top on if I looked like that!!!

I went for a similar style recently, used clippers on the side. Had a number one at the bottom and gradually increased the length until it was relatively long on the top. I'm not expert on faceshapes but ask you hairdresser first whether having it so tight on the sides would suit your face. It didn't look great on me and I probably won't have it that brutally short again.
You can always leave a bit of length at the back and the sides if you're worried, the style will still work.

It decided on a different style in the end! Aha, similar, but different. I should be able to get some pictures up soon, but I'll wait until my Hairbond Moulder has arrived, ordered it the other day!

yeah i think this is going to be my next hairstyle, like u say u can style it to the side or as a quiff depending on the occasion and still look good.

how long do you reckon the length is on top and on the sides/back?

and would this be appropriate hairstyle to have in an office environment? cause im going to be having some interviews in the next 2 months or so (i currently have a normal short back and sides with a bit longer on top, not as long as that ^ guy tho, and my mum says its not appropriate.... but then she has really stopped in time... anything that isnt "classical" she thinks is "horrible"...)

And that'd be awesome. And then it CAN be suitable for the office, there are surely ways you can make it look more formal!
