Afro/Black Hair Question

Im curious of what to do with my hair because i usually just get my head shaved to a level 1 or 2 and shaped up but now im looking for something different. Does anyone have any links or pics they could show me of fashionable afro cuts and styles to help me with my dilemma.

I know a guy who just lets it grow really, has a medium length afro and he looks the business, so if it suits you you could try it.

I feel exactly the same. There are a few different things you can try. I decided to go for a mohawk, it's only a level 2 at the moment but it can go to almost any length really.




You could even texturise/relax it once it's long enough:



You could also try 360 waves, but it will take a LOT of work to get it:



If you have beard growth you could grow and then shape it:



As you know there is also dreads, twists or cornrows, afro or hightop styles to consider.

Judging by the pics above, you could class mine as being a very very subtle mohawk.

As in, there is a bit more at the top than on the sides, and this is done very very gradually.

I achieve this by using scissors rather than having it shaved when getting my hair cut.

Its kept subtle because I work in the City and have high net worth, corporate clients.

I'm told it really suits me - definitely do consider branching out rather than going for the sterile 'number 1 shave please' look that everyone sports - bores the crap out of me!
